Clementine Juice

Clementine Juice

I have always loved citrus fruits and clementines are my favorite! They have a taste that is not as sour as “santra” or as sweet as “mosambi”. I like the clementines as they have a little bit of both! Most people like to start their day with a glass of good old OJ. Well, hidden behind store bought juice is a tone of sugar and preservatives that you don’t really want in your system. Besides, nothing beats the taste of freshly squeezed juice. Clementines are easy to peel and this juice takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish. Enjoy a glass of clementine juice the next time you make breakfast!

What you will need:

IngredientsQuantity
Chilled Water or Ice1 cup
Clementines3/4 kg
Sugar (optional)1 tablespoon
Prep Time:  5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2

How to make it:

  • Peel the clementines. Discard the skins.
  • Add to a mixer or juicer.
  • Add water. I personally do not like extra sugar in my juice. But feel free to add sugar per your taste if you desire.
  • Add ice instead of water if you enjoy cold juice.
  • Blend. You can strain the juice if you don’t like the pulp.
  • If you are a savory fan like me, add some hara namak instead of sugar.
  • Serve chilled.
